OUR STORY
We believe jewelry should reflect what’s already within you—your story, your style, your light.
How it all began...
I purchased my first set of bench tools, wire and a bench block in 2005, wanting to create my own pair of earrings after falling in love with a strand of Labradorite gemstones. I was quickly enamored with the jewelry making process and spent the next nine years moonlighting as a jewelry designer, doing trunk shows, private parties and making pieces for my Etsy shop, in addition to my Creative Director role with two national publications.
In 2015, I left my fast-paced and demanding profession to follow my heart and create beautiful jewelry full-time. Each piece is handmade from start to finish in our Wisconsin studio by a small team of incredible jewelers and makers. Quality is really important to me. Your jewelry should feel amazing when you wear it and it should stand the test of time. We use the finest materials, including 14k gold filled and sterling silver. Whenever possible, we hand-pick the gemstones in each piece. I find inspiration each day in the beauty of our natural surroundings and the incredible women living in this community. When I'm not at the bench, I'm spending time with my husband, Chris, and trying to keep up with our three young boys, Heron, Wrennyn and Orion. A Place of Our Own
For many years, Token called Artisan Forge home—a vibrant community of makers, artists, and small businesses where the brand continued to grow and take shape.
As the business evolved, so did the dream of creating a space entirely its own.
Together with her husband Chris, the support of family and friends, and design guidance from her brother, Sarah transformed a historic building into what is now the Token storefront and studio.
Walls came down. Floors were restored. Countless hours were spent painting, building, planning, and imagining what the space could become.
Today, that dream lives in a light-filled historic building along the river in the heart of downtown. It's a place where creativity, craftsmanship, and connection come together—a space to shop, gather, and experience the story behind every piece.
More than a storefront, it's a home for Token and the community that helped build it.
